Adam Smith is an accomplished Lead Human Factors practitioner currently employed at NATS. With over 15 years of extensive experience spanning various sectors such as aviation, defence, nuclear, transportation and oil & gas he has established himself as a seasoned professional in his field. His primary focus lies in system design and Human Factors assurance, where he excels in evaluating human error. Additionally, Adam possesses expertise in training , physical ergonomics and holds a background in Psychology (particularly cognition and workload). Beyond his HF skills he also boasts a strong track record as a work package and HF work program manager. His management capabilities encompass personal oversight, team resourcing, scoping, bidding, customer engagement and agile work practices. Adam's comprehensive Human Factors skill set, enriched by his technical proficiency acquired across diverse industries provide a unique and holistic perspective on the subject.
