Dr. Anthony Andre is Founding Principal of Interface Analysis Associates LLC (IAA), a leading healthcare human factors and ergonomics consulting firm, and a Professor of Human Factors/Ergonomics at San Jose State University. He has received numerous forms of recognition and awards for research, authoring, design, presenting, practice, teaching, career impact and professional service. He holds a PHD in Human Factors/Ergonomics and is a certified professional ergonomist (CPE). For the past 28 years, Dr. Andre and his team have performed thousands of design reviews, formative studies, validation protocols, validation studies, comparative analyses, use-related risk analyses and comparative non- inferiority studies for hundreds of pharma and biotech companies all over the world.
Dr. Andre is Past President and Fellow of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, a Fellow of the International Ergonomics Association, Founder of the International Symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Healthcare, a Contributing Editor of Ergonomics in Design, and Founding Editor in Chief of the new journal, Human Factors in Healthcare.
