He has worked at the highest level in Professional Football, International Rugby, McLaren Formula 1 Racing, professional skiing and with Olympic athletes. In the field of elite sport, Martin is currently engaged as Advisor to the European Tour Medical Advisory Board.

Martin is the CMO of FLX.Health which provides digital health solutions in the corporate sector to ensure best practice in human wellness and physical performance. FLX creates Expert Software Systems, which provide innovative programmes for self-management of musculoskeletal conditions, physical conditioning, wellness, rehabilitation and clinical pathways. The FLX physiotherapy APP has recently been launched in collaboration with Arco, to help manage and prevent the consequences of musculoskeletal problems for individuals and businesses.

Personally, Martin is an accomplished author and has presented his work at scientific congresses across the world, including the IOC World Congress on Illness and Injury in Sport. He is a former Honorary Senior Lecturer and Innovation Collaborator at Salford University and is the former chair of the UK Biomechanics Coaching Association.

In the retail, medical and pharmaceutical fields, Martin enhances the design of products for human use, by applying the principles of Biomechanics and the science of how the body is designed to move. Martin has consulted to Start-rite shoes, Reckitt Benckiser, DePuy Synthes, Hotter and Scholl.
